1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the InkWater mobile application (the "App") provided by the InkWater team (the "Operator"), and the rights and obligations of the Operator and users. By installing or using the App, you agree to these terms.
2. The service
- Interactive play across 58+ ink, fluid, and particle simulation worlds
- Screen capture, video recording, wallpaper setting, and saving artworks to your device
- Community gallery — sharing artworks, likes, and reporting
- Optional Google sign-in for rewards (world unlock ticket) and friend invites
3. Free use and ads
The App's core features are free, and ads (interstitial, banner, rewarded) may be shown during free use. Some worlds and features are available through watching ads, daily check-in rewards, or a paid subscription.
4. Subscription (InkWater Premium)
- Product: weekly subscription with a 3-day free trial. Prices and conditions are shown on the checkout screen.
- Auto-renewal — subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless canceled. Free trials convert to a paid subscription when the trial ends.
- Cancellation — to avoid renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (or trial) in the Google Play or App Store subscription settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- Payments and refunds — payments are processed by Google Play / App Store; refunds follow each store's policy and applicable law.
- Benefits and prices may change with prior notice, effective from the next renewal.
5. Community content (user-generated content)
- Rights and license — you own the artworks you share. You grant the Operator a non-exclusive license to store, reproduce, and publicly display them for gallery publication. Deleting an artwork ends the license.
- Prohibited content — illegal, obscene, violent, or hateful content; content infringing others' rights (copyright, likeness, etc.); artist names containing inappropriate language.
- Reporting and moderation — you can report inappropriate artworks in the App. Repeatedly reported artworks are hidden automatically, and the Operator may hide or remove violating content without prior notice.
- Blocking — reporting also hides the reported artwork and that artist's works from your gallery.
6. Accounts
- Google sign-in is optional and used only for sign-in rewards and friend invites.
- Rewards (tickets, points) are usable only within the App and are not redeemable for cash. Rewards obtained through abnormal means (multiple accounts, device manipulation, etc.) may be revoked.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings > Account > Delete account. Reward and invite records cannot be recovered after deletion.
7. Prohibited conduct
- Reverse engineering, unauthorized copying/distribution/modification, or commercial resale of the App
- Manipulating the ad, subscription, or reward systems through abnormal means
- Posting spam or promotional content through the community gallery
- Any other conduct violating applicable law or these terms
8. Intellectual property
Rights to the App and its components (design, logos, software, world content) belong to the Operator or their rightful owners. Rights to artworks you create belong to you.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
- The App is provided "as is". The Operator does not warrant flawless operation on every device.
- The Operator is not liable for data loss absent willful misconduct or gross negligence.
- This section applies only to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer protection laws.
10. Changes to or discontinuation of the service
The Operator may change or discontinue parts of the service (including the community gallery). Material changes adverse to paid users will be announced in advance.
11. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the revised content and effective date will be posted on this page, and material changes will be announced separately, e.g., in the App. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are resolved by the courts with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act. Mandatory consumer protections of your jurisdiction are not excluded.
